BRITISH FOUNDED FIRM DUNLOP MILLS ACCEPTS NATIONAL
TOP SERVICES TROPHY AND DIPLOMA FROM THE ROMANIAN INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED AND
EXPERT ACCOUNTANTS.
Following our tenth year anniversary in Romania, we have been fortunate to enjoy
a number of special accolades as an S.M.E professional firm. 2011 has been a
special year for us following steady growth in a recession year, being
appointed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
(ICAEW) as an approved training employer, being awarded by our regulating body
CECCAR including top national award as demonstrated here and Dr. Stan Dunlop
being appointed as Director to the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce. In
England, we call this a ‘hat trick’! We wish to thank all of our clients who
without them, this would not be possible. Thank you also to our contacts and
suppliers who all contribute. Finally, thank you to the Dunlop Mills Team, who

Dunlop Mills S.R.L. wins awards for “Top Firm”
(SME category) and “Integrated Services for Enterprises” from C.E.C.C.A.R.
Said Dr. Dunlop:
“In our profession, this is
like winning two Oscars! The awards will be presented by
C.E.C.C.A.R., the Romanian accounting institute which is the largest national
accounting institute in Europe and one of the oldest established with a 90
years anniversary.
We are proud to be a member
firm of C.E.C.C.A.R. and delighted that they have recognised our achievements
over the 11 years of our service in Romania. Awards will be presented on 21st
September at the Patriarchal Palace and 22nd October at the Intercontinental
Hotel. C.E.C.C.A.R. has special links to the Institute of
Chartered Accountants in England and Wales that further promotes the
combination of Romania and the U.K.
The new British Ambassador
has also emphasised his commitment to enhance trade with Romania.
Romania is expected to be one
of the fastest growing countries in the E.U. in the next decade and the U.K.
will continue to be major investors. The British-Romanian
Chamber of Commerce, now chaired by Ray Breden, has acknowledged a desire to
have closer links to C.E.C.C.A.R. and we intend to assist in this development.
Overall, 2011 has been a
satisfactory year for Dunlop Mills, with steady business growth, appointment as
an approved training employer of the ICAEW and now these awards and above all,
thanks to our clients for their support that has made this success story
possible. Thanks also to the Dunlop Mills Team who work hard
daily to provide the services that our clients expect.
